From Naples to Your Doorstep
'ShearWater' started with a humble dream: to deliver true Neapolitan pizza to Via Roma, 15. The Bianchi family opened the doors to their quaint pizzeria in 1985, offering pizzas rich with generations-old recipes.
The founder, Marco Bianchi, immersed herself in pizza craft during her Italian expeditions, learning from Naples' expert pizzaiolos—the pioneers of pizza. Returning to the UK, her mission was to replicate the Neapolitan pizza magic, sticking to age-old techniques and the finest materials.
Our journey began in a tiny 12-seat space and has flourished into a cornerstone of the community while our dedication to superior taste and originality stands steadfast. We maintain our traditional wood-fired ovens, prepare fresh dough daily, and choose top-tier ingredients consistently.
Continuing as a family-operated endeavor, the second generation of the Bianchi lineage now heads our zealous crew. Honoring our heritage, we've welcomed some modern enhancements, yet our essence persists: serving joyous, bona fide pizza that unites our patrons.
